PortsCenter Episode 3: Fury of the Furries / Pac-in-Time

In this week’s episode of PortsCenter, Ben takes a look at a Pac-Man game that isn’t really a Pac-Man game.

As he explains in the episode, Pac-in-Time is just a re-skinned version of another puzzle platformer, Fury of the Furries. Think along the lines of how the U.S. version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is basically a re-skin of Doki Doki Panic.

He also covers a couple of interesting ports of the Pac-Man version of the game, and the game’s significance in the direction Namco took in the late ’90s through early ’00s with their yellow, ghost-gobbling mascot.
