What a Douche

The man in the image to the left is Olajide Olatunji, aka KSIOlajidebt on YouTube, and he is a colossal douche.

In a recent video from his series of “being awkward” at events, he visits Eurogamer Expo, where he refers to one booth babe only as “Massive Tits”, asks another if he can motorboat her, asks a passer-by why she isn’t fingering herself,  and asks a third booth worker if she would date him if he killed her boyfriend (after calling her flat chested).

Now, I’m not sure if this counts as full-on sexual assault, as Gameranx‘s Wesley Copeland suggests, but it is certainly vile. (The main reason I would question whether or not it counts as assault is I have little to no knowledge of the British legal system in these matters.)

While many people are outraged or at least offended by this clip, and rightfully so, it dissappoints me to see so many people trying to defend it.

I’ll just come out and say it: If you find this video or this guy funny, get the fuck off my site and don’t come back.

Seriously, these fuckers are why Duke Nukem Forever‘s script is like it is. These guys are why a creep like Tomonobu Itagaki (the Dead or Alive guy) still has a career. These guys are why some female gamers I’ve talked to are afraid to go to gaming conventions on their own.

While the (somewhat expected) racist YouTube comments from 14-year-olds are perhaps equally repulsive, it doesn’t excuse either the video itself, or those defending it.

At least one good thing has come of this though, as according to the previously mentioned Gameranx article, KSI’s video has erned him a lifetime ban from Eurogamer Expo.

Hopefully he has learned his lesson. Or if not, hopefully the next time he tries this someone pepper sprays or tazers the shit out of him.
