Experience The Hour of Love
A couple of years ago at PAX, I noticed the Destructoid crew (or quite a few of them anyway) sitting in a booth at a party and went up to introduce myself.
As soon as I said which website I was with, Jim Sterling cut me off mid-sentence and shouted “Wardrox is a cunt!”
Flash forward to last weekend when Jim and fellow curmudgeons, Yahtzee Croshaw of Zero Punctuation and Bob “MovieBob” Chipman of Escape to the Movies, took the stage at the inaugural Escapist Expo for The Hour of Love.
Basically, audience members suggested topics and the panelists (observed by Psychologist Mark J. Kline) could only say nice things about them.
P.S. – I ended up having a lovely conversation with Jim later in the evening at the previously mentioned party, and he’s a pretty cool guy. He just thinks wardrox is a cunt.
I remember that party. Shipwreck from CAG and Ray from EGM were wearing a bunny hat. My goal at every party is to never be “Cody from NBC was doing X”.
