What’s New and What’s Cheap in the UK: Guild Wars 2, Rhythm Paradise and British Indies

Welcome to this week’s edition of “What’s New and What’s Cheap in the UK”, the weekly post telling you exactly what it says on the tin: what’s cheap in Old Blighty. But fear not, international readers: where applicable, prices will also be listed in Euros and USD.

Releases-wise this week is short but sweet, Guild Wars 2 and Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition release on the PC, while Rock Band Blitz releases on both PSN and XBLA, and Tales of Graces f hits the PS3.

On the deals side this week, Coolshop has the newly released Guild Wars 2 for £32.75, Game has Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise on the Wii for £19.99, and Gamersgate has the Pendulo Pack which includes The Next Big Thing, Runaway 3 A Twist of Fate, Runaway: Dream of the Turtle, Runaway: A Road Adventure and Yesterday all for £13.49 on the PC.

Elsewhere Steam has The Walking Dead for £7.49/$14.99/€14.99 and the Best of British Indie Bundle for £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 which includes DEFCON, Eufloria, Frozen Synapse, Gratuitous Space Battles, Revenge of the Titans and the Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There, Dan That! Special Edition Double Pack and both prices depending on region and finally Indie Royale is back with The Getaway Bundle which is £3.21 at the time of writing and includes Shattered Horizon, Analogue: A Hate Story, Da New Guys, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure,Waves and MiniFlake.

Breath of Death VII and Cthuluh are both excellent, but really benefit from being played in that order, since BODVII is quite a step down in terms of graphics and scope after Cthulhu. £1.49 is a steal!
