Awesomeness Wanted!

We’re not going to lie, Nukezilla is pretty awesome. We’re just a bunch of awesome people who bring you awesome content by writing about awesome things.

In fact, the only thing that would make us more awesome is more awesome writers to write even more awesome articles for our awesome readers!

…Or flamethrower-wielding bears–which we’re working on, but it’s taking longer than expected.

In the meantime, we’re recruiting new writers! (We’ll keep you updated on the flamethrowing bears, though.) Do you think you’re awesome enough to fit in at Nukezilla? Then here’s what you should do:

  1. Gather together a sample feature article (we’re looking for around 600 words or more) and a sample news article.
  2. Decide if you’d like to focus more on news writing–which requires at least three posts a week–or feature writing–which requires at least one post a week of 600 words or more. (And just so you know, even if you specify that you want to mostly write, say, news, that won’t prevent you from writing, say, a game review if you want.)
  3. Email our Editor-in-Chief at hans [dot] wuerflein (at) gmail [dot] com. Be sure to include your two sample articles and a little about yourself, including what kind of writing you’d like to focus on.

Please keep in mind that writing for Nukezilla is a labor of love, not a labor of keeping food on the table. We all do this because we love doing it. And because we have other paid jobs to help us keep our houses. What I’m getting at is that you won’t be paid to write for us. But you’ll get lots of awesome points, a few friends, and some good experience to put on your resume. You might also get a free game or game code on occasion.

Give me 24 hours, enough chloroform to knock out a 40ft gorilla, the budget of the first two die hard movies, a camera, a slightly larger camera that also does video, an easy jet flight to Nebraska, Cereal boxes x45, some scissors, a bic pen, and a cardboard cutout of jack black and i MIGHT be able to get you jim sterling.
