Nuke the Table: Carcassonne Review [VIDEO]

Hello! What are you doing down here? The video is up there! Anyway, we’re going to be doing one of these semi-video board game reviews about once per month, or perhaps even more regularly if I get the hang of things. It was going to be a regular text-based feature, until I discovered it’s really tricky to describe a board game’s mechanics without lots of picture examples and, besides, by doing it this way I could mess around taking pictures with help from fellow Surprised Man, Kieran Walsh.

Enjoy!

With special guest appearance from my forearm. xD

I <3 Carcassonne!

But, why no Mousetrap?

Adushan Says:

Thumbs up for board game reviews! We want more Kieran and Peter!

I like this. and I’ve been meaning to look into Carcassonne but never could find anything that really described it, might pick it up now. Thanks!

Peter Silk Says:

Glad people are liking the video. I’ve already written the script for the next one, just need to get all the pictures for it. Bit quiet, isn’t it, I’ve noticed? I’ll make the next one a little louder.

@Peter Silk: Just a bit, not quiet enough for me to go “WHAT?!” and be a giant douche about it though ;)

Peter Silk Says:

@Adushan: We did actually record a podcast a while ago, but it went a bit wrong and I haven’t got around to finishing the edit. We’ll probably release it as the ‘lost’ episode soon, and then record another, better one.
