The Weekly Nuke: Summertime
Woo! The Weekly Nuke is back!
Videogames and summer have an interesting relationship. On one hand, publishers generally only release one or two big games between May and August each year. On the other hand, summer is usually the time of year a lot of kids have the most time for gaming.
So the question for this week is simple: What games say “summer” most to you? It can be a game with a sunny, summer setting. It can be a game you and your friends spent most of a summer playing through back in junior high. Heck, it can even be a game you spent all summer trying to get better at, whether just for fun, or a serious competition like EVO or Quakecon.
To make things more interesting for the community, I’ll pick the coolest submission or two and give out fabulous prizes. Will they be Steam codes? Retail PC games? Some PS2 stuff Game X Change refused to accept for trade in last week? Who knows?!
Anyway, either post in the comments, on the forums, or if you’re planning a longer article you’d like us to consider for the front page, send it to tips@nukezilla.com with “Summertime” somewhere in the subject line.
So, what games say “summer” to you?
