What’s New and What’s Cheap in the UK: Burnout, Rayman and THQ Titles

Welcome to this week’s edition of “What’s New and What’s Cheap in the UK”, the weekly post telling you exactly what it says on the tin: what’s cheap in Old Blighty. But fear not, international readers: where applicable, prices will also be listed in Euros and USD.

Releases-wise this week a better looking affair than the last few weeks, with Lego Batman 2 releasing on everything, Civilization V: Gods & Kings hitting the PC and Steel Battalion Heavy Armour releasing on the 360.

On the deals side this week, Zavvi has Rayman Origins for £14.95 on PS3 and 360, Shopto has the THQ Limited Edition Boxset on PC for £14.86 – includes Metro 2033, Red Faction Guerilla, Company Of Heroes, Company Of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Saints Row 2, Darksiders, Dawn Of War 2, Dawn Of War Chaos Rising, Supreme Commander, and Frontlines Fuel Of War.

Elsewhere Gamersgate has Amnesia: The Dark Descent for £3.23 and Space Pirates and Zombies and £3.48, Origin has Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for £5.00 and Mirror’s Edge also for £5.00 along with a lot of other games for a fiver and Steam has the Cube Pack for £6.99/$9.99/€8.99 which Includes BIT.TRIP RUNNER, Blocks That Matter, Critical Mass, EDGE, Q.U.B.E. and RUSH.

What catches your eye on either side this week?

I was looking at that THQ pack of PC games at Shopto, and they also have the Final Fantasy XIII-2 Limited Collector’s Edition for £11.86 on 360 and £12.95 on PS3.
