The Weekly Nuke: Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

I liked my flat a lot more when it wasn’t surrounded by a swarm of bees that just love to get inside and make themselves at home. But hopefully, with Summer on the way out, they won’t be a big problem for very much longer. Say, that reminds me of this week’s topic that John suggested:

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

Gaming isn’t the same all year ’round. We’re just heading into the traditional late-year rush of big releases. Then there have been some changes in the last few years that are starting to question the wisdom that if it’s a big game, it needs to be released around this time. What I want to know is: what are your seasonal gaming habits? Are there times when you regularly don’t play games at all? How do you deal with the release-rush period? How do you choose a game when so many compete for your attention? And what do you do in the stretches where nothing is coming out? Look out for the discussion on the forums.
