Short Form:

No Me This Week Due to Unforeseen Consequences

And by “unforeseen consequences” I mean I dislocated my shoulder on Sunday at roller derby practice. Everything with my shoulder is fine (far more details on next week’s podcast), but it’s meant I’m pretty much unable to do anything useful for a few days.

This includes work, though annoyingly my boss won’t give me sick pay — damn being self-employed –, as well as Nukezilla related happenings. I can’t write all that comfortably, and probably shouldn’t try too hard to as I need to rest my shoulder.

Though, as you have come to realise, behind the scenes at NZ we have a lot of very sexy people who can keep everything rolling for the next few days whilst I recover*. If you think I’m the one who makes this place great, then I must tell you, you’re overrating me.

It is giving me some nice time away from the site (I understand the irony of writing that in this post), something I’ve not really done for a while. And I’m hoping to bring the thoughts I gather back with me next week. Both in terms of writing, and more development work on Prime.

A friend dislocated his shoulder a few years back, then this year he tried some light weight lifting and POP! It fell out again. So be kind to your shoulders, you only have two.

And if your boss sees you posting images of your left shoulder dislocated then he’d obviously be less sympathetic. Next time, go with dislocated right nipple. You need that for journalism. Or so I’m told.

That is the best photograph.

Poor wardrox.. I hope it doesn´t hurt too much and that you´ll feel better soon.
