The Humble Indie Bundle #3 is Available Now
A new Humble Indie Bundle was released earlier today. The third bundle (fourth if you include The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle) continues with the pay what you want model, which has proven successful in the past, and has now raised over a million dollars for charity. The games included in the pack are:
- Crayon Physics Deluxe (Kloonigames)
- Cogs (Lazy 8 Studios)
- VVVVVV (Terry Cavanagh)
- Hammerfight (Kranx Productions)
- And Yet It Moves (Broken Rules)
All the games are playable on either Windows, Mac or Linux, and can be redeemed on Steam and Desura. As usual, you can pay as little or as much as you like, and decide how you wish to split the money between the developers, Child’s Play, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Humble team.
While I’ve not had a chance to play most of the games yet, given the current track record of the Humble Indie Bundles I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. I can say that VVVVVV is a great game, and definitely worth a look. It’s even part of Nukezilla’s required reading.

Saw this, bought bundle, redeemed bundle, downloaded EVERY game on steam, prepared tomorrow’s lunch, pegged out washing and got a notification of the HIB3 by email; in that order. Is my email slow or am I that awesome?
I totally paid like a million dollars and not one cent.
I didn’t pay anything because I own all these games.
Crayon Physics is alright. At its best when you’re colouring in the map to look like a desolate crayon hellscape.
Cogs is great. But I’m the only person who seems to think that.
And Yet It Moves is meh. Fairly boring, gets better later on.
VVVVVV is not for me. Everyone swoons over it though so you’ll probably like it.
Hammerfight is the only one I haven’t played and I will be sure to do so following this.
