NZCast 4.02: £60 Worth of Wine

Yet another episode in which we manage to tactfully avoid talking about videogames almost entirely. We do however manage to fill the show with lots of other complaining and discussions and whatnot! Such things include:

  • The forums.
  • In to the future.
  • Dramatic game box readings.
  • Begging for iTunes reviews.

Three things:

1. Thanks for insulting me by saying I’d do a shit review of Lego Star Wars 3.
2. I have neither a South African, nor Indian accent (I’m Indian-South African) because the South African accent is ridiculously difficult to do. Matt Damon did a pretty pro attempt in Invictus, and Leo Dicaprio was not bad in Blood Diamond.
3. As a prize for being the best at Soviet Rocket Giraffe you WILL send me Lego Star Wars to review, and so I can stop crying because you insulted me.

I could buy it next paycheque for steam and write something if I have the time for you. I love the lego games. I probubly should hate it, and to some level it’s pretty much madden, but It’s my crack.

@John Kershaw – Indeed, we South Africans follow the PAL.

@GameAreArt – Challenge accepted! When, and if, the game arrives through my mailing system then we shall both write reviews of this incredible game! Maybe one could view it positively and the other negatively. We post our reviews (in the forums) and the best review voted by the community and staff get the review put up on the site.

Just 2 questions. I got the steam version now. Mind If I finish GTA 4 before starting up Star wars 3? Don’t think it will be too long, especially seeing Adushan has to get his copy shipped.

BTW, how long do you usually make your review here at the Nuke. 1000 words with some pics?
