Wardrox’s HD Vlog 10th July: The Server Fires Are Out
After a week of assorted things breaking I’m back to being happy. On my internal scale of “how are you doing” which goes from 1 to 7, I scored a 5!

Uhhhh!!! Pepsi?!! What happened to coffee??? You’ve changed!
But it’s okay, as long as the site is sweet and all is good in Nukezilla land.
Also, how does something use 180% of available RAM? Does it have a backup supply in case of emergencies?
I haven’t seen it yet. But if you need more ram than you have doesn’t it sometimes do something weird like store the ram data in the hard drive and swap in and out with the ram?
You mean using temp files? Ahh! (jumps out window)
I remember virtual paging files and the like. The cause of hard drive errors and blue screen errors they were!
@Adushan Govender: The servers are virtual, so they can use more than looks like is available, but it’s capped at 180% and once you go above 90% you get a bunch of errors and notifications flag up.
The first minute of 4.00 is hilarious and worth a listen in it’s own context.
I like the idea of the Nukezilla Prime Alpha, but I won’t be using it for my thingy. but if it encourages me to write a longer form entry to feel like I am part fo the group, good times!
On this overcast, drizzly Sunday I’m busy being pissed off that in Oklahoma it’s 105 degrees outside.
Yesterday when I got in my car the temp. reading (usually a couple degrees high, but still) read 122.
Oh, and scrambling about trying to get a few more tickets in the Steam Summer sale/contest thingy.
