Cthulhu Coming to Steam and Gamersgate
Zeboyd Games’ quirky homage to old-school RPGs, Cthulhu Saves the World — appropriately retitled Cthulhu Saves the World: Super Hyper Enhanced Championship Edition Alpha Diamond DX Plus Alpha FES HD – Premium Enhanced Game of the Year Collector’s Edition (without Avatars!), is coming to Steam and Gamersgate on July 13.
Cthulhu first saw release on XBLA back in December of 2010, to positive reviews. The game follows Cthulhu, who has lost his power, embarks on a quest — forced to become a true hero in the process; at least long enough until he can regain his powers and start wreaking havoc upon the world once again. Joined by an odd assortment of characters (an amnesiac old man, a talking sword, an obsessive fangirl), Cthulhu must push through his own RPG
Oh. And in case RPGs turn you off because they’re nothing but grind-fests — this one’s designed to take about 10 hours.
Included with the Steam release is Zeboyd Games’ other RPG tributary accomplishment, Breath of Death VII. Both games will be bundled for $3.












I’m waiting on the “for matching service” edition with online coop. I’m enjoying the “ridiculous name” trend in indie game recently.
Played Breath of Death VII and it was great. I’ll totally pick this up.
Breath of Death VII was absolutely fantastic. Didn’t realize they had made another game; this is a definite buy.
