Torchlight II Loots Vary Niice

We’ve been longtime supporters of Runic Games going back to our exclusive preview and interview during PAX ’09. One might be able to make the argument that Negative Gamer helped give Torchlight the wild success it currently enjoys. Be that as it may, Torchlight II is coming our way this year and promises co-operative play and buckets of new loot drops.

As part of their run up to E3, Runic has posted two new articles today highlighting their development efforts in the areas of world building, level and art design. Making an addictive action RPG takes more than tweaking clicks-per-second rates and plugging in hypnotic music (though both of those features help immensely). Torchlight II is looking promising and we’ll be providing hands-on impressions during our week of E3 coverage starting Monday, June 6th. And yes, if you’re wondering that headline should be read in a Borat! accent.

I see what you did with that title.

Adushan Govender Says:

Damn you Brett! Creating more hype for this game!

I want it hard. If this thing is multiplayer perfection then the Nukezillites better buy it and join me to quest for glory, money, and mother’s home made dessert!
