Sony Announces Free PSN Outage Games, For Europe at Least
After restoring the PSN after almost a month of downtime, Sony has announced the games that you’ll be offered as compensation (for Europe at least).
Kotaku notes a post on the official European PlayStation blog (a post now removed, but backed up using Google cache) which says you’ve got a choice between two of the following when the store comes back up:
- LittleBigPlanet
- Infamous
- Wipeout HD/Fury
- Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
- Dead Nation
Along with that you get two PSP games to enjoy (assuming you have a PSP):
- LittleBigPlanet PSP
- ModNation Racers PSP
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
Added to this is the 30 days of PlayStation Plus for non-subscribers and 60 for paying customers. It’s worth noting that this is only in Europe, so the American list may differ. The post has also been removed, so it may also end up changing slightly.
Also, due to strict violence laws, German gamers have Dead Nation and Infamousfor replaced with Super Stardust HD and Hustle Kings and on the PSP Everybody’s Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party instead of Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation. Lucky you!

Dead Nation and Wipeout HD/Fury…. and all this while I’ve still not actually been inconvenienced.
Super Stardust HD takes place of Ratchet and Clank for the U.S.
I’m gonna get Infamous and LittleBigPlanet as i’ve never played either. :)
I got rid of my PS3 ages ago.
I bet Sony use these giveaways in posted earning metrics and NPDs.
