Ezio Auditore Returning for Another Assassin’s Creed Installment
Apparently I was wrong when I said that Ezio’s story was played out. After a few leaked screenshots earlier this week, Ubisoft has officially announced the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, to release this upcoming November for XB360, PS3 and PC.
According to Ubisoft, the game is the “culmination” of Ezio’s story, following the events of Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Revelations features an even older Ezio following the path of Altair (the Assassin in the original Assassin’s Creed) to Constantinople, where the Templars are steadily increasing in numbers, possibly attempting to overthrow the Ottoman Empire. Ubisoft has promised more details at E3 next month.
Oh, and the multiplayer? Totally back for another round, with new maps and characters. Hopefully Ubisoft will pull a Mass Effect 2 and let me transfer my online levels to the new game, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
It should be noted that this game is still not Assassin’s Creed III, to which Ubisoft has still yet to give any sort of release window.

A possible launch title for the new consoles in 2012?
