Sim City 4 Cheap on Steam, Today Only

I hesitate in giving large, faceless organisations free advertising, but today’s EA Steam discount is too good to miss.

For today only Sims-related games are being heavily discounted on Steam. The Sims 3 is seeing a 40% reduction (as well as 50% off the game’s expansions) but more importantly Sim City 4: Deluxe Edition is getting a rather nice 75% cut off its price.

That’s brought it down to £2.50 (or $5 in your rebel money), so for less than a coffee it’s well worth checking out one of the best city simulators out there. (Like you haven’t already.)

I haven’t played that game in years. Still might worth a buy, despite having the discs. Goodness knows what I did with that CD key.

No Sim Ant? SIGH.

That was the first game I tested when I worked at Maxis. I bounced back and forth between Sim City 4′s Expansion Pack, patches and The Sims: Bustin’ Out on Xbox. Sim City 4 is a classic.

@Jenny Rouse: Holy hell. Another Sim Ant fan. This must be be the Internet’s largest gathering of people who not only remember playing it, but remember it fondly. Did you play Sim Isle at all?
