Trejo, Gellar, Englund Kill Zombie Hoards in New Call of Duty DLC

I never took to the Call of Duty franchise like many gamers have. I do, however, consistently enjoy the few opportunities I have to play the zombie-killing modes in both World at War and Black Ops. Something about the level designs and risk-and-reward exploration really impress me. Well today, I came across a trailer for the new Zombie mode in the upcoming Black Ops DLC. I never knew I could be this excited for something Call of Duty-related.

“Call of The Dead” is a new zombie map in the “Escalation” DLC due out May 3rd. The trailer (made to look like a grindhouse film trailer), shows a rag-tag group of zombie killers taking out the undead somewhere in remote Siberia. The group is made up of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, and Michael Rooker. Oh, and the story for the mode is apparently “inspired by” George Romero. Seriously. Activision somehow convinced Buffy, Machete, Freddy, and Hal Tucker to gang up and kill wave after wave of zombies in an arctic army base, and George Romero is also amazingly involved.

Below is the trailer that you need to check out. This mode is looking like it will be incredibly fun, and may give some of you (myself included) a reason to buy Black Ops.
