Select Adventure Games on Sale on XBLA

For any of you dear readers who have read either of my reviews (here and here) and were curious about the games, but didn’t feel like paying full price, this may just be the week to try.

The good folks at Mixnmojo have passed on the word that both Double Fine’s Costume Quest and LucasArts’ Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge are on sale on XBLA this week.

More specifically, both games are half off. Costume Quest is 600 points and LeChuck’s Revenge is 400 points. If I had to choose one for you, I’d recommend LeChuck’s Revenge, though that’s just the adventure purist in me talking. Costume Quest is more aptly labeled as an adventure/RPG hybrid.

Also keep in mind that Costume Quest has an optional winter-themed DLC add-on, “Grubbins on Ice”.
