Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve II to Hit North American PSN

More games from my teenage years of gaming are hitting the North American PlayStation Network, and I couldn’t be happier.*

This week’s PSN update brings with it Square Enix’s Legend of Mana, a side-quest-oriented action RPG with a lush, storybook art style. While I had fun with it, it is admittedly inferior to its predecessor, Secret of Mana.

Also, despite my earlier uncertainty, it appears that Parasite Eve II will also be ported to the PlayStation Network, although no release date has been officially announced (nor have those lovely spoilers the ESRB officially posted their re-rating of the game).

* Well, actually, I could be. A lot. But the PS1 games I want will never actually hit PSN. Like Koudelka. Or Chrono Cross, which I never gave a fair chance. Or any of the other RPGs I played during that period that weren’t Final Fantasy-based. Now I’m depressed; I’m going to go lie down.
