Ocarina of Time Remake to Feature Master Quest

Let’s continue rolling in the Ocarina of Time news shall we?

It has been announced by David Young, Nintendo of America’s PR guru, that the 3DS remake will also feature Master Quest. Master Quest was initially released as bonus content for people who pre-ordered Wind Waker.

Master Quest is a remake of Ocarina of Time featuring harder puzzles, harder enemies and different item placements. It seems that Nintendo are basically making up for re-working the water dungeon to make sure people won’t be smashing their new 3DS in a water-induced rage.

One of my biggest gaming shames is having never played Ocarina of Time. As soon as the game hits shelves in June, I’ll be all over it like Link on a Master Sword. I’d also like to point out that the release of Master Sword with Ocarina of Time means the game is effectively a remake within a remake. Have Nintendo recently hired someone by the name of C.Nolan?
