Was anybody surprised that Activision killed off the Guitar Hero franchise? In my eyes, it was dead the moment they took it over. That doesn’t mean I didn’t buy them all as they came out though — I’m a sucker for improved hardware.
Anyway, Rock Band is the name of the game now, as it should be. Harmonix brought this genre to the world outside of Japan, and they’re still the only ones who can be trusted with it.
