Wallpaper Wednesday: Going For The Gold

Wallpaper Wednesday is Justin’s weekly photographic outlet at Nukezilla, where he posts a game-related wallpaper that he created, for your free (non-commercial) use. Just click the link below that most closely matches your monitor’s resolution, and enjoy! Feel free to make these your wallpaper on your computer, phone or actual wall — just don’t steal them and use them to make money. All photos © Justin Massongill.
Hundreds of years ago, when Nintendo Power celebrated the publication of their one-hundredth issue (Wikipedia tells me they’re up to 265 now), some special merchandise was created to mark the occasion. This golden N64 controller is one of those items. I’ve cherished this thing, and have rarely used it just because it’s so damn pretty.
I’ve also got a gold Game Boy Camera that has Zelda-themed stamps instead of the Mario-based ones that are normally included. Oh man, what if I could figure out how to export pictures taken with the Game Boy Camera? I could use that for the next Wallpaper Wednesday!
I think I need to Google around a bit this week…

Now that takes me back. The N64 was the first console I bought with my own cash, and it took quite a while to save up my allowance to get to $200. Was I really 11 when that came out?
