3DS US Launch Day Titles Announced
Nintendo’s newest portable system, the 3DS, which releases in late March, now has confirmed sixteen games that will be released on the US launch day.
Nintendo will publish three of the games — Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort, and Steel Driver — while the other thirteen are from third-party publishers.
Included in the third-party titles are Rayman 3D, Ridge Racer 3D, The Sims 3, and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
Other large-profile games announced for later release for the 3DS include Resident Evil: The Mercinaries 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, and Kid Icarus: Uprising.
The entire list of launch day titles can be read here.

Is this US or EU launch lineup?
@ParaParaKing: US. Thank you for reminding me to clarify.
I’ll keep my pre-order, but it looks like it will just be Steel Diver and Pilot Wings Resort for me on launch day. I know there are good things in the pipe, but this is pretty weak.
Hilariously, tge promo image used as the header is outdated in two ways, or prophetic in two ways depending on your view point. Neither a red 3DS nor a metal gear game are available at launch. That makes me laugh. I bought a DSIXL in march so there is no way I could be hqppy spendIng £230 on more nintendo shite until 2013, in time for the 3DSI (the 3DS lite is nezt year, with new cOlours every november and the addition of pink every feb/march).
@ouched: I’m buying a 3DS on launch day, mostly because of my sweet, sweet, employee discount, but there’s nothing coming out for it that I want for at least three months after launch.
@Faye Lanks: I had problems scaling down an image of an actual 3DS, so I stole that from a previous post. :P
This will actually be my second DS. I bought the original, gray DS — probably right around when the DS Lite was announced. To this day, it’s the DS I still play. You just can’t beat the fact that it plays DS AND GBA games. Love it. And honestly, I wouldn’t have bothered with the 3DS either, but there are a few games that are 3DS only that I want to play, so…there goes my money.
