Splinter Cell, Disc Version of Prince of Persia HD Remakes Get Dated
Ubisoft have listed March 22nd as the US release date for their HD remakes of the classic Splinter Cell series and a disc release of Prince of Persia games.
The three games in the Splinter Cell pack coming to the PlayStation Network will include Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The Splinter Cell pack will also get a 3D makeover, if you’re into that sort of thing.
The Prince of Persia disc version, which you can pre-order on Amazon.com, will include The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, just as the PSN version does. There’s been a disc version in the UK since
it launched in November.
Both will be $39.99, but MCV notes that gamers will be able to purchase the three titles in a single pack, or download them individually. UK pricing is unknown at the moment, but the previously mentioned Prince of Persia disc was £29.99 at retail so expect a price around that.
The UK’s release date for the Splinter Cell pack is currently unknown too, but it could be around March 25th, the closest Friday to the 22nd. I imagine we’ll find out soon.
I’ll be getting all three of the Splinter Cell games and I especially can’t wait to play Chaos Theory, a game that looked (and still does if you play it using the 360′s emulator) bloody brilliant.
Now though, I just need to figure out a way of putting myself into some sort of stasis in order to help the 52 days until release fly by. Sigh.

I wonder which versions will be on the Splinter Cell Collection, because the PS2 version were the worst versions of the games. Also I hope they do a better job with the port than the PoP port.
