Capcom threw a little shindig for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in a suite at the Aria hotel during CES, and I was fortunate enough to get myself and my camera in (despite a complete lack of skill in the game series being showcased).

Things looked bleak at first, when I realized that I had forgotten to put my CF card back in my camera (rookie mistake!), but I met Steve Hwang and shamelessly asked him if I could borrow a card — a request that he gladly obliged. The build of MvC3 on display was the almost-most-recent one, including all heretofore announced characters except for Haggar and Phoenix. Despite its “more accessible” control scheme, I think most hardcore MvC fans will really be able to get into this game along with all the newcomers it will be sure to attract. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy. GET HYPE!
