Game Informer Learns First Details of Telltale’s Jurassic Park Series

Consistent story-breakers Game Informer have a bevy of information regarding Telltale Game’s new Jurassic Park game. Leaked on the NeoGaf forums, we’ve learned a few pieces of bad news and good news about the series.

The bad news: even though the games (there will be five in the series) take place during and after the events of the first film, none of the major characters will be involved. Sorry, folks whose dreams of playing Jeff Goldblum in a game will never be realized; apparently you’ll be playing a random member of the park’s staff.

The good news is the game will be released in spring of this year, and the game will mix Telltale’s awesome brand of puzzles with, get this, Heavy Rain-style quick-time events. This is shaping up to be a very interesting title, and hopefully a worthy successor to the films.
