SRRN Launches Ash Lite

SRRN Games really wants you to play their iOS JRPG, Ash. And I don’t blame them: it’s a great game, with a ridiculously low price tag of $5 (they could have easily charged more). And now, a little over a month since its release, Ash Lite has launched for free on the iTunes store.

Ash Lite is an early-level demo, consisting of two towns and a dungeon, and provides roughly two hours of gameplay.

For those who are unfamiliar with the game, Ash is a story in the vein of early Final Fantasy games, involving two mercenaries: Damien and Nicholas. Damien and Nicholas embark on a routine contract which goes awry, plunging the entire continent into conflict. Ash is easily a 15-20 hour JRPG — a playing time not particularly common on the iOS.
