Here Comes The December Review NUKESTRAVAGANZA!

KABOOM!!!

  1. Every single day in December, Nukezilla will be publishing a review.
  2. The first review will be one sentence long, every following review will increase in length by one sentence.

This means the review going up on December 5th will be five sentences long, the review going up on the 31st will be 31 sentences long, etc.

Some reviews going up are long overdue, and the Nukestravaganza is a great excuse to get them done. It’s also fun for us as writers and editors to try to limit our words down to just a few sentences at the start of the month, then expand on our points at great length towards the end. It puts our collective abilities to the test.

In these reviews the rules, or giant grey area referred to as “the rules”, surrounding dashes, brackets and colons is being relaxed, but will remain consistent. Titles, editor’s notes [italicised text in brackets], stars, disclosures and other text outside of the main paragraphs will not count towards the sentence total.

To follow along at home you are welcome to take a look at our style guide, our How To Write A Review guide and our scoring guide (if you’re confused by our star system).

So, here’s to 496 sentences!

Below is a list of published reviews that are part of the December Review Nukestravaganza (it will be updated as the month progresses):
