Sony Announces Winter Sale

It seems as though PlayStation is starting their Black Friday a bit early this year, as they announced on their blog that they’re launching a sale on the North American PlayStation Network.

The sale, spanning PS3, PSP and Mini games, consists of several of this year’s popular and well-received games, including indie hits DeathSpank and Joe Danger as PS3 downloads, as well as successful PSP retail games such as Fat Princess, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Dante’s Inferno, and Dissidia Final Fantasy.

Most games listed are a cool 50% off, and afford gamers the opportunity to play some good games, rather than play average games simply because they’re on sale.

The sale ends Monday, November 29 and is open to all PSN subscribers in North America, Canada, and Mexico. No word if the European PSN plans on launching a similar sale.
