Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Roster Improved with Zero and She-Hulk [UPDATE]
UPDATE: This morning Gamestop revealed the Collector’s Edition of MvC3. Aside from normal “special edition” doodads (steel case, art book, comic) the Collector’s edition comes with a code for character DLC. The two characters (available a month after the release date of February 11th) are Marvel vs. Capcom 2 competitors Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath. Both are fantastic additions to the cast.
Once again my inner Capcom fanboy has squealed in glee from the recent roster additions to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
Today word got out that the female version of the Hulk, appropriately named She-Hulk, will be joining the Marvel side. The more important addition (in my opinion) is Zero, the long-haired android from the Mega Man X series. Zero has long been a favorite character of mine ever since I picked up the original X title.
You can take a look at Zero and She-Hulk in action. She-Hulk looks necessarily brutal, taking a page from Hulk’s handbook and just throwing anything and everything around. Her dashes also look to come in handy. Zero, who was playable in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, looks fantastic utilizing his Z-saber and moves from his various X appearances.
Back when the initial batch of characters were announced I knew for certain who my three-man MvC3 team would be. This announcement has definitely made me rethink that. Speaking of which, if you want an early start on your roster selection, here’s the list of MvC3 characters already announced:
Marvel:
- Captain America
- Deadpool
- Doctor Doom
- Dormammu
- Hulk
- Iron Man
- Magneto
- M.O.D.O.K.
- She-Hulk
- Spider-Man
- Super-Skrull
- Thor
- Wolverine
- X-23
Capcom:
- Dante
- Chun-Li
- Amaterasu
- Arthur
- Chris Redfield
- Felicia
- Morrigan
- Nathan Spencer
- Ryu
- Trish
- Tron Bonne
- Viewtiful Joe
- Albert Wesker
- Zero
To use a tired Internet meme, everything’s coming up Milhouse!

The Zero half of this announcement is awesome, but She-Hulk? There’s a lot of Marvel chicks that should be in way before Ms. Purple Pants. Jubilee would be nice.
Milhouse is not a meme.
