Dead Xbox Leaks Vampire Energy

Turning off your electricals is always a good idea. On the one hand you gain a sense of self-satisfaction knowing you have almost immeasurably helped fight global warming, and on the other hand you’re less likely to kill yourself whilst having a water fight in your living room.

Helping you help yourself is the Alabama Power Company who’ve made a bunch of helpful videos about how to not just save energy, but also keep yourself safe.

As far as I can tell they’re not parody videos, but being British I’m sceptical that a video like this one, which has the line “because the only thing that should ever be inserted into an outlet, is a plug” followed by a grin could ever be legitimate.

I would suggest following the nice man’s advice and unplugging that Xbox 360, because you’re certainly not going to be using it for a while.
