Rock Band 3 came out this week! ROCK BAND 3 CAME OUT THIS WEEK!
I’m one of the biggest Harmonix fanboys on the face of the planet, so it stands to reason that I’m very excited about Rock Band 3. I have a tradition where I refuse to play any new music game on anything less than the hardest difficulty, and I am following that tradition with RB3. Frustratingly, this means I have to learn how to actually play a keyboard this time, so my progress through this installment will be much slower than in the previous two titles. On the other hand, I can play “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News on keyboard now!
This is a picture of my drum set. I run Rock Band Nights at a local arcade every other week, and was doing them at a different place for a while about a year ago, so the cymbal pictured is pretty much dead now. Still, the Ion Drum Rocker has been a trooper since I got it two years ago. The sensors still work, and are pretty responsive considering the beating they’ve taken. If you’re in the market for a premium Rock Band drum kit, I highly recommend it.
