Battledrome: Sim Tower

Sticking with another Sim game this week. We’re playing Sim Tower, a game that recreates all the trials and tribulations of managing a two-dimensional cross-section of a tower…
The game is free and can be downloaded here. Unlike last time, DOSBox isn’t required to play but I did have some trouble running it after installation. Running as an administrator sorted that right out though. The metric we’re using to compare scores is ‘fund’ (how much money your tower has). Note down the amount of money at the beginning of the first quarter of the third year.

$2000000, I didn’t do anything and so i got the best score i could possibly achieve.
If I can get this to run under wine then I will have a go.
THRID year!? I’ve went for 3 quarters and can’t bring myself to play any more.
@MrBRAD: You sir are a heretic!
8,227,000 is my best so far out of about ten tries. It was just under ten million at the start of the 4th quarter of the second year but in the last few days it took a nose dive for some reason and I wasted some money placing another lift by accident.
My score is incredible. 9 Digits. I AM UNBEATABLE.
Thing that keeps happening is that i am doing quite well and I Find that the sims suddenly think “you know what this place is a bit s***” and so that leaves me 10 million simoleons in debt
10,397,800 is my new highest. I hit 13million-and-something at one point but I always take a massive dive right before the start of the third year. I don’t get at all how nine digits is possible in two years of game time.
