Another Month, Another Mass Effect 2 DLC Announcement

Bioware and EA have announced two new pieces of Mass Effect 2 DLC are on the way. Coming first is a two weapon pack, blah, blah, blah. More importantly the second DLC pack, Lair of the Shadow Broker, will continue the story of Liara T’soni and her plot of revenge against the galaxy’s most famous bogeyman.

I’ll probably pick up the second pack on release day because I’m pathetic and still have a soft spot for Dr. T’soni. She was my first blue skinned tentacle haired space conquest before Mass Effect 2 made me into a non-monogamous bastard.

Truth be told, I lost my Mass Effect 1 save that served as a record of this tumultuous relationship. Does that mean it never officially happened? I thought she was giving me dirty looks when I met up with her in ME2, but maybe that’s because I hooked up with the space-racist Ashley and the space-slut with a heart of gold, Jack. I know one thing for sure, I’m lucky to have a wife in the real world.

No release dates or prices were given for either of these packs, but you can assume they’ll be dropping in the next few months and (based on the previous packs) should be 160 and 560 Microsoft points, respectively.
