UK retailer GAME are trying to entice potential buyers of the newly announced Xbox 360 Slim with an offer that could see you paying only £24.99 for it. The catch? You’ll have to give up your 120GB PS3 Slim to get the discount.

If you’re one of those types attracted to the Xbox 360′s hot younger sister [ed - for the sake of this article please note that a console "year" is significantly shorter than a human year], then this offer may tempt you. Trade in your 120GB 360 Elite model and you only have to pay £99.99 to get yourself a Slim. Trade in a Nintendo Wii and you’ll have to pay £124.99.

It’s a decent offer and it makes the idea of upgrading your videogame console easier to digest, especially if you are planning on buying a Nintendo 3DS when that arrives later this year.
