Red Dead Gets Online Patch
After Rockstar announced the update, the company has finally released a patch for the issues that have plagued the online side of the game. I’d personally experienced the multiplayer issues, making connecting to a Public Free Roam session almost impossible. I’ve just download the update and tried to connect and things seem much better.
Along with those problems, Rockstar included fixes for various sound and visual glitches as well as some offline problems. While I hadn’t experienced the offline ones, apparently bounty targets disappeared and lawmen stopped chasing you despite you still being wanted. Check out the Rockstar post to see if your problem is on the list.
I’ll have to play some online sessions more thoroughly to see if the problems have gone completely, but so far things look good. On another note, Rockstar has said that a Hardcore Free Roam mode will be added soon, meaning that only players with Normal or Expert aiming modes will meet meaning no more getting whooped by Casual targeting. Rejoice.

It’ll be nice to finally be able to kill Mo Van Barr.
