Zynga, in an attempt to invade your life even more, is trying to addict you to a product other than Farmville; 7-Eleven food. A quick search of the convenience-mart giant’s website reveals a recent press release about the ‘œBuy. Earn. Play.‘ promotion.

From June 1st through July 15th, certain 7-Eleven products will contain codes to get new items in Zynga titles Farmville, Mafia Wars, and YoVille. Working in a convenience store myself, I’m not sure how this is worth it at all.

The press release reveals the items included in the promotion. While you can get in-game items from buying Zynga game cards and cut fruit(?), Slurpees, Big Gulps, and other gastronomically destructive items make up the majority of the list.

It’s a wonderful thing to hear that people who enjoy taquitos and Farmville cows now have a one-stop shop for both. If there hasn’t already been a conspiracy started about Zynga trying to make our teenagers fat so they stay at home and play Mafia Wars more, I’d like to start it.
