Bioshock 2 PC Patch Brings Colour-Blind Friendly Hacking UI

A few months ago we published an article highlighting the difficulties some colour-blind gamers have when using the hacking interface in Bioshock 2. Well, it looks like our words were listened to and the new patch notes (posted in the Bioshock 2 forums) include a new hacking UI for the PC version of the game.

There are patches coming to all three versions of the game, with the PC getting the most fixed. The forum post also says that the new UI will be coming to the 360 and the PS3 versions of the game in future patches.

However there’s nothing in the patch notes about fixing any of the other widely known bugs in the game, like the Big Sister music getting stuck on for an entire level or broken save files. It’s been more than three months (and two DLC packs) since the game came out, and to not have these bugs squished is very disappointing.

Well, I totally missed this story when it hit, and now it’s hmmm irrelevant, but I just wanted to say, nicely done nukezilla and nicely done taketwo. I love when creative people confronted with conflicts, step up and do what they can.
