Nukezilla Ends Tonight

For those who’ve not been following Nukezilla over the past few days, some rather interesting happenings have been going on. You can see how all the information was discovered by reading through the official forum thread on the matter.

The short version of events is that after some kind of secret government lab had a rather unfortunate incident, some sort of creature was let loose into the Pacific Ocean. Over the weekend it was tracked heading around the bottom of South America then north towards the USA’s east coast.

One crazy hacker going by the name user1337 helped those figuring out what’s going on and worked with them to try to determine what the government have been up to.  One of the commanding officers found their way in to the base computer and left some rather interesting messages. After a bit of an argument and some gaining of control of a US top secret weapon, a decision had to be made; attack Cuba (where the General said the creature was) or Nasa (where user1337 said it was).

Those logged in decided neither was a great solution and cause the weapon to self destruct, rendering any defence against the creature  useless. The current course of the animal seems to be in the direction of New York City, where it will make landfall at approxiomatly midnight tonight (GMT, 7pm EST). Unless you can stop it?

Remember; if you post any new information in the forum thread you can win yourself a rather nice Amazon gift card. We’re also having a drawing competition, if that’s more your cup of tea.
