Robert Florence Creates New Xbox Live Indie Game Show

As you know, my gig on Negative Gamer so far has been one of an Indie Game reviewer. Every week I try and show you people the best and worst of the Indie Game market (as I’ll do tomorrow with my review of Missing Reel). These are the games that don’t get a lot of coverage in the gaming press, and I think that’s a problem. We need to get the word out about these games however possible. Luckily, some guy named Robert Florence is coming to Xbox Live to help get the word out about these titles.

Some of you might know this gentleman; along with Ryan Macleod, he’s the creator of web series Consolevania and BBC Scotland video game program videoGaiden.

Co-creator Florence’s oddball brand of humour and thick brogue have made their way to Xbox Live in The Independint Charles Show (sic). The series takes a look at the highlights of the Indie Games section in the strange manner that Consolevania fans will be used to. For lucky European Xbox Live users, you can check out the first episode of the series today. Meanwhile, us American audiences will continue to be aloof to whatever it is you strange British people do.
