The “Grapefruit”, Our New Forum, Has Landed

As named by Matttbh in IRC a few moments ago, Negative Gamer‘s forum upgrade is complete. The nickname comes from the colour pallet chosen (it’s going to be edited to be more in fitting with NG when I have the time to tinker).

Chances are there’s still going to be a few bugs and oddities floating around, so let me know (maybe via the new PM system… unless you’re trying to tell me about a bug with that) if you spot anything.

Besides the graphical upgrade (or should that be a downgrade?) comes a number of other benefits:

• The new forum is significantly more secure, and updated regularly
• RSS feeds for pretty much everything you could want are included
• You can get email updates when people reply to a thread you’re interested in, and the emails actually work
• A Private Messaging system now exists (and will eventually be integrated in the top bar of NG)
• Super easy formatting of posts is provided
• A bunch of boring technical things I like to play with exist

I, for one, welcome our new grapefruit overlords.
