Can I see the epic junction?
@gcndavidmn: epic junction; http://www.openttd.org/en/screenshot/1.0/20090329_andrem
@wardrox: WOW! That is one epic junction!
Just a note, if they ever released Gamecrush in India (or similar countries), it would actually break the internet. Even if it disconnected every time, i know many guys who are not of (to put it delicately) the Caucasian Persuasion, who would be all over their lcd screens, massively abusing themselves. They could earn billions by preying upon the hopelessly naive guys who have never seen a girl, yet alone talked to one. Having said that, not all guys in India are socially awkward when it comes to women, i only use India as an example cause i have a couple of friends who are very “nudge nudge wink wink look at that ugly girl she’s hot right?” Have you ever heard the phrase, “Now that the women have left, we can get this party started!” So, moral of the story, get some vaguely female humans, men in wigs count, slap em on Gamecrush, and watch the internet go down like a…
I dont like wardrox because he is better-looking and more popular with the ladies than I am.
Great podcast! You (two) made a lot of good points and there was lots of humour!
anyone wanna all get on and see if we can’t figure out Open TTD? I’ve tried to play it the past couple days, can barely make heads or tails out of it.
Can someone explain to me what a \Chav\ is?
I think it’s funny to be an asshole on the internet so I’m going to troll on Gamecrush a few times(hey, they can’t bitch.. there getting fucking paid to be camwhores).
h0tdhick: lollo why are u not moofing? X11d1X11d
Alex: OH GOD! I’M CUMMING!
@Rednblack3: the UK equivalent to a guido, only lower class.
@Alex: We thought about doing that ourselves, but I think we were too lazy. I’d love to know how that goes, lol.
@Hawkeyed One: Once we have a group of people interested… or just us… we can hop on kype one afternoon and play a tutorial game type thing.
@Rednblack3: Well chavs as i’ve come to understand are similar to some Indian men in South Africa. If you go to the East Coast of SOuth Africa, and you’re at the beach, and you hear a massively loud stereo blasting out the most ear-shattering bass, coming out of a car with rims so shiny you are blinded, and so low to the ground that it sucks up all the tarmac into the air intake, then you are witnessing the entry of a South African chav. Or as we call them, Thumbies (pronounced Thumb-bee, and meaning little boy). The killer similarity is of course that in the UK they wear hoodies, whilst the attire of choice of the Thumbi is the black leather jacket. It is used without fail in the summer, to the beach.
Oh and @Hawkeyed One: if right click on a button it explains what it means. Some tips are that you need a depot to buy trains, buses or ships. You need a station or ship depots to carry goods to and fro. You place rail or road between stations, buy vehicles, make sure they carry the right type of goods, and set up waypoints for them to carry goods. It’s a complex yet simple game to try out, because it eventually gets hectic, but stick with it because it uses no resources whatsoever so your laptop can play it for hours, and it’s so awesome!
