Missile Escape Competition Winners Announced

The competition to win Missile Escape for XBLIG is now officially closed. While the number of entrants was a mite disappointing, the competition was entirely worthwhile just to read Shakerag’s tale (who unfortunately doesn’t own an Xbox) of renting Athena for the NES and “[getting] so mad that [he] remember[s] covering the entire desk (NES, TV, and all) with a bedsheet and refus[ing] to go near it until [he] had to return the game”. The entries can be read in full here and here.

Now, the winners  in no particular order (as there were only five genuine entries!):

  • Scott Hall’s Halo 2 house demolishing anger
  • Doug’s big fist N64 friendships
  • zard1′s utter disregard for punctuation at the hands of Gears of War
  • wtf.tank’s Team Fortress 2 essay
  • Hawkeyed One’s PSX Monster Rancher adventure

All of you will be contacted by e-mail this afternoon with a marketplace code that can be redeemed through your dashboard. Thanks for the stories guys!

Maximinus Says:

Congrats to all the winners. I’ve updated Missile Escape, the new version RC2 has been approved just a few minutes ago, it should become available to gamers soon (in a few hours). The main update is the Easy mode, which is now much slower. I hope the gamers will like it. @Chris : I will send you an email with additional details
