You Run Faster With a Knife
Counter-Strike players are some of the most aggressive gamers out there. Ask almost anyone that’s into PC gaming, or see the countless parodies (FPS Dave from Pure Pwnage) and real-world accounts of people losing their temper over the game. It’s a fairly common stereotype in my experience, at least.
Is this the norm though? Or am I just constantly reminded of the worst incarnation of a stereotype? I’d like to think it’s the latter, because another story (NSFW, contains gory images) about a Counter-Strike freak out has emerged recently.
Taking place at a Chinese internet-cafe, a couple of people were just enjoying their day when an argument arose. Then, one of the guys (I assume they’re both male) stabs the other in the skull with a rusty twelve-inch knife.
From what I have gathered, it appears that the internet-cafe where the incident took place didn’t require any ID. Well, who hired the person that thought that was a good idea? They obviously didn’t do any research into what the game is about, ’” or even care about what was going on in the place ‘” and just wanted to make a quick buck off of some kids who wanted to play some computer games.
In short: Why do people have to be so dumb? So what, the kid ‘” allegedly ‘” cheated in Counter-Strike. Is that really worth going to jail, possibly for life, over?

It is true. Not to mention having your knife out makes it easier to Bhop.
It was probably a result of all the pent up rage from all of the hackers they have encountered over the years.
There are internet cafes that require ID? News to me.
