CVG Editor Talks About His Experience on ITV

As you should be angrily aware by now, a few days ago gaming got something of a slap in the face from the right-leaning UK daytime TV program The Alan Titchmarsh Show. If you’ve not got annoyed at the video yet, best do so now.

The “pro” gaming guest, and victim of the whole affair, was Tim Ingham, an editor for CVG. Lewis Denby, writing for his column on GameSetWatch, had a chat with Ingham about the whole thing.

I’m not going to quote too much here, as the article itself is well worth a read. But I will add that whilst Ingham does seem to have been mentally beaten by the experience (if you couldn’t already tell from the video), he seems to have got what he expected and hopes some good came from it all. As he says “if I snapped a couple of mothers into removing Modern Warfare 2 from their 13-year-olds’ bedroom while I was at it, it was completely worth the rough ride.”
