A joint collaboration between Summit Entertainment and Microsoft Game Studios brings the Twilight and Halo universes together in what is sure to be one of the biggest entertainment events of the decade.

Line?

The multi-million dollar video game will be the largest joint venture between a film and game company since 2009′s Call of Duty: Quidditch 2 which grossed over $500 million in its opening week.

Talking exclusively to NGR one Microsoft insider confirmed that early on in the game players will learn how the Spartans are actually sparkly gay vampires and wear their full-body uniform to prevent people from seeing their shimmer.

A senior Microsoft manger applauded the announcement saying that “the demographics for Halo and Twilight are already so similar this synergy just makes sense.”

Negative Gamer‘s own Gandysampras, a fan of the Twilight saga, warned of the news saying that he thinks he would “be offended that they were making the sparkly vampires too butch”.

The author of the popular F**k Yeah Halo Twilight Slash Fiction! blog added “This is going to make my blog so popualr!”
