We’re Giving Away 100 Allods Online Closed Beta Codes, Starting Now
Over the next few days we’ll be giving out 100 Allods Online beta codes, which is quite cool. Oh, and we’re starting with this post (details below). Over the next week we’ll be giving out beta codes across the site, on our Twitter and on our Facebook page, so if you keep an eye out and you’re highly likely to nab one.
The game is billed as a free to play MMORPG and from what I’ve played so far, it seems like it’ll be a great way to while away the festive evenings. Also, it’s free, not sure if I’ve mentioned that.
Though be warned, you’re going to see a lot of cleavage and arse (more than in your average MMO). Why the game has to have quite so much t&a I think only the PR department could say. For me it just makes me feel a bit awkward playing, though maybe that’s because I’m at home and trying to explain why my character’s skirt is half way up her backside to my parents is not the most fun. Still, equip yourself some Strength + 3 Pants and you’ll be fine.

Update #1: Be sure to keep an eye on the Negative Gamer Twitter at around 3pm GMT on the 23rd Dec (other time zones here) for another chance to get a code!
Once you have a code, do this;
- Register with gPotato.eu at http://en.gpotato.eu/Account/AccReg.aspx – Players with a gPotato.com account need to sign up to gPotato.eu to play the European version
- Confirm the email to activate your account – If you have not received this email within a few hours, please check your SPAM mailbox
- Enter your beta key at http://en.allods.gpotato.eu/ad – it can take a while to be registered, be patient. I downloaded the install app whilst I waited
- Download the game client, approximately 2.2GB from http://en.allods.gpotato.eu/Download/Client.aspx
- Install and patch the game to the latest version.
- Log into the game with your gPotato.eu username and password
- Enjoy!

The thing about the codes is do they work for both the US and EU beta’s wardrox? Because I wouldn’t mind doing some testing of this game to see how well it actually holds up compared to the other MMO’s out there.
@Sniper Dave: I _think_ these are European codes, however, I don’t think they check what country you’re in. If you don’t mind possibly a touch of lag, I assume it’ll be fine.

Hey Wardrox, how was it determined who given the codes? I’m pretty sure I had the 9th post but unfortunately still haven’t received a code.

Got my code yesterday. Just waiting for the download button on the website to work so I can get allods EU version installed. :D already have the American version installed and ready to play
