[NGR] Cold Weather Forces Video Game Fans to Stay Inside

A recent spell of cold weather across England and Eastern USA has caused hardship and upset for many gamers who have been forced to spend time indoors.

Liberals to Blame?

Unlike most weekends that see gamers leaving the house and eating healthily, the cold temperatures over the past few days forced many active thumb jockeys to do nothing but sit in their homes playing video games.

Worsening the situation is the timing of the cold snap; many families are home for the festive season, forcing those affected to make awkward, polite chit-chat.

Talking to NGR one gamer said “I was going to go outside and learn about the world [...] but this weather has put a stop to all that”.

“Now all I can do is play these damn video games and eat crisps” he continued, wiping a small pile of crumbs off his Left 4 Dead 2 t-shirt, “faggot”.

The cold weather has also forced many to play games instead of going to work. An insider from one soul-crushing job joked “sometimes I skip games to go to work claiming I’m ill, sadly I can’t get away with that today”.

Peter Molyneux, rumoured to control the weather, was not available for comment.

It’s always the last line that kills me. Brilliant.

That was quite funny.
